About the Role
Responsibilities:
Operate a variety heavy equipment safely and with skill, including challengers, dozers, tractors, loaders, and track hoes.
Perform regular maintenance, repairs and preparations for production operations.
Perform daily maintenance check list (check all fluids, blow out machine, and air filters, grease tractors and implements, keep debris out of cab).
Partner with the Field mechanic on rebuilding equipment and more complex issues.
Support various assignments and tasks with a high degree of quality and efficiency.
Take initiative to solve and analyze problems; find ways to continually improve processes and efficiencies.
Report all breakdowns, damages, and acres complete every day to supervisor.
As needed, during planting and harvest, step in as lead which entails organizing other operators, assuring daily goals are met, as well as coordinating with management and mechanics regarding need...
