Head, Tax & Finance Projects at AT Ghana

Job Summary

• The successful candidate will join our team as the Head of Tax and Finance Projects in the Finance Department. • (S)He will report to the Chief Finance Officer and will direct and oversee the organization’s tax policies and objectives. The selected applicant will also be responsible for a wide variety of tax matters, including compliance, planning, accounting for income taxes, and filing of tax returns and assessments for the JV.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all research and implementation of tax planning initiatives to optimize overall position, cash taxes and effective tax rate.

• Oversee and manage all company tax audits, appeals and litigations including implementation of compliance strategy to manage risk.

• Develop and maintain documentation of both certain and uncertain tax positions as required per IFRS and tax act.

• Coordinate and oversee accurate filings and payments of all taxes and levies.
