Job Summary
Responsible for the overall supervision of the speech activity program.
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota coaching certificate or 60–hour equivalency.
- The MSHSL provides the MN Head Coaches Course to help meet this requirement.
- This 7‑hour in‑person course plus additional online components total 60 clock‑hours.
- Strong work ethic and dedication to co‑curricular activities.
- Leadership skills: organization, vision, motivation, conflict resolution; ability to work with student athletes, parents, staff, and community.
- Substantial knowledge of the rules and technical aspects of cheerleading.
- Substantial knowledge of Minnesota High School League rules.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing 10+ pounds regularly.
- Preference for a strong background in speech as a participant and/or coach.
