HDD CREW GROUNDSMEN

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to lift 75lbs
• Locate utilities and check for clearances
• Demonstrate ability to position, join, align, and seal HDPE products of all sizes
• Demonstrate ability to work with coaxial and fiber optic cable
• Knowledge of customer requirements and specifications
• Prepare job site for direction drilling activities
• Safely and efficiently operate tools and equipment based on job requirements
• Ability to follow direction
• Assist with drill fluid mixing
• Basic knowledge of reamer operation
• Proper attachment of pullers/swivels/clevises/ reamers to drill stem
• Demonstrate ability to perform site restoration and clean up
• Demonstrate ability to set cable pedestals and vaults
• Ability to recognize and communicate risks and/or hazardous conditions on job site
