Gypsum Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Install gypsum board and related materials with precision to ensure a seamless finish adhering to building codes and specifications.
• Measure and cut drywall to fit around windows, doors, and other features, showcasing strong attention to detail.
• Tape, mud, and sand joints to create a smooth surface ready for painting, demonstrating finesse in finishing techniques.
• Erect metal or wooden frameworks to support the installation of drywall, ensuring structural integrity and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in carpentry or drywall installation preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in gypsum carpentry or related field.
• Certification in drywall installation or relevant carpentry techniques is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
