**About this opportunity**
Reporting to the Manager of Program Operations the Grounds Supervisor I is responsible for supervision and management of assigned crews including leads, grounds and utility worker personnel in the development and care of the University of Washington grounds, upholding a standard that meets required specifications, budgetary constraints, and University policies.
**Grounds Maintenance Program Execution (35%)**
+ Executing the grounds maintenance program through the direction and supervision of crew leads, gardeners, and utility worker employees.
+ Supervise leads and other assigned personnel in the removal of snow and ice, and the application of ice melt and sand during inclement weather.
