Salary Range: Grade 2 SCP 6 £25,989 per annum. Permanent post. Required as soon as possible.

Job Summary: The caretaker will be part of a dedicated team committed to the school, families and community. The role focuses on the needs of the children and supports the vision of the PRU.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the school.
• Manage health and safety matters and other tasks specified in the job description.
• Carry out maintenance tasks using initiative and practical skills.
• Take pride in work and ensure a smooth running of the school.
• Liaise with management staff and work flexibly to meet the children’s needs during and outside school hours.
