Global Principal Procurement Engineer

The Global Principal Procurement Engineer is responsible for leading cost optimization initiatives across the Direct Sourcing portfolio. This role plays a key part in driving value through advanced cost engineering techniques such as target costing, should-cost modeling, and value engineering, while ensuring supplier quality, delivery, and innovation. It combines deep technical knowledge with strong commercial acumen and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute cost reduction and value improvement projects across Direct Commodities in alignment with Commodity Managers.
• Develop and apply target costing strategies in collaboration with R&D and Product Management.
• Conduct cost breakdown analyses and challenge supplier pricing based on manufacturing processes and market benchmarks.
