Geotechnical Site Technician

Job Summary

Kiwa CMT is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Site Technician to join our team. This role primarily involves on‑site work at various construction projects, with some duties based in our Derby laboratory. You will be responsible for conducting high‑quality testing services mainly around the Midlands, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

About The Role

• Carry out geotechnical site and laboratory testing.
• Ensure equipment is in current calibration and pre‑test checks are completed.
• Ensure that test equipment is checked regularly and functioning correctly, and that any failures, defects or damage is reported via current systems.
• Use and maintain equipment with all due care and ensure that weekly checks are carried out.
• Ensure that all necessary test information, results and QC data are recorded in the manner required by current procedures.
