About the Role

Main Purpose of Job

The Geologist III/Remedial Project Manager (RPM) position
within the Federal Assessment and Remediation Division provides state oversight
for environmental investigations and remediation at federal facilities. This
role requires the application of theoretical and practical knowledge in
geology, physics, chemistry, and mathematics to evaluate site-specific response
actions. The incumbent must be proficient in using geological cross-sections,
maps, and field sampling methodologies. While reporting to a Geologist
Supervisor, the individual is expected to work independently at headquarters,
field sites, and off-site meetings.




Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform duties in conjunction with the Department and War, and security clearance is required.
