General Practitioner – Oncology

Job Summary

Come work as a General Practitioner Oncologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

Squamish General Hospital is looking for a dedicated part‑time GP‑Oncologist to join our collaborative team. The role is currently a 0.2 FTE (approximately 12 hours per week for 26 weeks per year), with potential growth.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with medical oncologists, other specialists, nurses, and clerical staff. Your responsibilities include ambulatory care for patients undergoing therapy and those in follow‑up, supporting inpatient care, reviewing and writing chemotherapy orders, and managing patients with adverse reactions or treatment‑related side effects.

You will receive existing MOA, oncology nursing support, and dedicated office space for patient reviews.
