General Practitioner

We are looking for a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner) to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at Cottesmore Medical Centre, in Oakham, Leicestershire.

This is a locum role (37 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the MoD service personnel.

Pay rates:

PAYE – £60.10 per hour

Self-employed – £69.12 per hour

Job Description:

• Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military and entitled personnel.
• Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) fitness for work assessments within the locum doctor’s scope of experience and qualification.
• To inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a serviceperson’s ability to undertake their duties.
• To complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or the requirements of any other government department.
