ABOUT YOUR ROLE

The role of a GL accountant involves managing a company's financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial data to help guide business decisions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

  • General Ledger & Reporting: Responsible for financial reporting, maintenance, and reconciliation of the General Ledger and subsidiary ledgers. Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures: Conducting variance analysis, performing period-close activities, and generating related reports. This also involves ensuring timely and smooth monthly account closings and identifying unusual transactions or account movements.
