About the Role

Cargo Operations:
Operates cargo compressors, pumps, reliquefaction plants, and gas combustion units. Cargo Monitoring:
Manages cargo tank pressure and temperature, particularly essential for cryogenic LNG (-161°C). Maintenance:
Repairs and tests deck-side cargo machinery, gas detection systems, and ESD (Emergency Shutdown) systems. Compliance:
Maintains accurate cargo logs, machinery history records, and ensures compliance with IGC codes (International Gas Carrier code). Safety:
Monitors inner hull spaces, oversees inert gas generation, and ensures cargo safety during transit, loading, and discharging. Physical/Personal:
High attention to detail, analytical skills, and physical fitness Certificates:
Class One or specialized license, and STCW Advanced Training for Liquefied Gas Tanker Cargo Operations (IGC Code). Experience:
