Overview

Responsibilities


+ Design nuclear fuel handling systems and fuel handling equipment from requirements development through final design.

+ Coordinate and review inputs and requirements from engineering and project teams.

+ Support planning efforts and maintain schedule adherence for system design activities and integration with overall plant design delivery schedules.

+ Identify and apply applicable design codes, standards, and regulatory requirements (as appropriate), such as ASME, ANS, ASTM, ASHRAE, IEEE, NFPA.

+ Interface with cross-functional design disciplines (mechanical, instrumentation & controls, civil, nuclear) to develop plant design information and define system design/performance criteria.
