FPGA Designer

Job Description

This role is part of our ET/UT product line. The incumbent performs the architecture or development of VHDL and/or Verilog modules on FPGA, participating in all stages of product development: design, prototyping, validation and transfer to production.

Responsibilities

• Definition of digital architecture.
• Module programming in VHDL or Verilog.
• FPGA-based schematic validation and verification.
• Define the schematic requirements specific to the proper functioning of FPGAs.
• Participate in schematic reviews that include FPGAs.
• Oversee PCB design (layout) when called in.
• Support startup of FPGA-based electronic prototypes.
• Write and carry out prototype test programs.
• Perform and run simulations.
• Close collaboration with Electronics and Firmware designers.
