The Forklift Operator safely and efficiently loads, unloads, and moves freight within a clean, modern distribution environment. This role handles inbound and outbound shipments, ensures accurate labeling and documentation, and supports a safe and organized dock area while operating material handling equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers using a forklift and other material handling equipment.
+ Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort freight according to size, destination, and handling requirements.
+ Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on the appropriate reports to support quality and claims processes.
+ Perform regular cleanup activities in the work area to maintain a safe, organized, and clean dock environment.
