Job Responsibilities
Implementing creative and logical forging designs and assemblies under design guidelines or departmental and client standards.Defining components, procedures, and materials with product certification in mind.Collaborating with suppliers, production engineering, tooling engineering, and operations to maximize the product's quality, cost, and weight.Producing precise 3D models, drawings, and the technical information needed to share designs with production, suppliers, and clients.Producing and verifying engineering bills of materials (BOM) and keeping design information current in the system.Actively engaging in the start-up process to address and prevent technical issues.Using technical expertise and theoretical knowledge to address challenging technical issues.Examining underlying issues and suggesting solutions.
