Fleet Mechanic

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Northam area, requires the services of a Fleet / Diesel Mechanic with at least 2 years' experience on Scania servicing.
Candidate must be available immediately

POSITION INFO:
Requirements Qualified diesel mechanic or equivalent trade certification. Experience working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and fleet management. Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults. Experience with mining, bulk haulage, or long-distance transport fleets is advantageous. Valid driver's license (heavy vehicle license advantageous). Ability to work independently and respond to breakdowns when required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Fleet availability and uptime.
