Fisheries Technician III-Field Crew Leader

This position is based in Prairie City, Oregon. The Fisheries Technician III- Field Crew Lead will coordinate day-to-day tasks on conservation properties with focal points on noxious weed control, grazing and irrigation management, public interactions, monitoring, and leading a crew of technicians to accomplish maintenance and project tasks. The employee must be able to build relationships within the community, agencies, organizations, and the Tribes. Once oriented to the job, the position requires the candidate to have multiple skills and problem-solving aptitude. Experience in the operation of heavy equipment (i.e. Backhoe, Mini-excavator, and compact loader) is a must.
