About the Role
We are looking for experienced and motivated Fire Door Remediators to join our growing project team for the London and South East prgramme of works. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out detailed fire door inspections, identifying defects, completing remedial works, and ensuring all fire doors comply with current fire safety legislation and industry standards. Survey experienec would also be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive fire door surveys and inspections.
* Assess fire doors against current regulations and manufacturer requirements.
* Record findings accurately using digital inspection software.
* Carry out remedial works including:
* Replacing or adjusting hinges, locks, latches, closers, and seals.
* Installing or replacing intumescent strips and smoke seals.
* Repairing door leaves, frames, and ironmongery.
