Financial Controller

Location: Leicester (3 days on-site, hybrid) Contract: Until the end of 2026

What you’ll lead and deliver:

• Step into partially defined processes and establish clear ways of working.
• Balance sheet integrity: own reconciliations, controls, and group reporting support.
• Reporting backbone: support consolidations, statutory reporting, and close out audit queries.
• Technical authority: provide guidance on complex areas, including IFRS 16 and related standards.
• Work closely with a junior team
• Assist ERP/process activity, data validation, and alignment across sites.
• Unblock issues quickly to protect timelines and reporting accuracy.
• Confidence in the numbers: rebuild consistency and credibility ahead of year-end.

About you:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
