Financial Analyst

Under the supervision of the Plant Controller/Finance Manager, this role analyzes the main financial variances (inventory, cycle counts, budget/plan vs actuals, monthly forecast vs budget, vs actuals), serves as the official backup for the Controller/Finance Manager, and is responsible for the general supervision of the social security and payroll process at BU level for the Mexican legal entity (includes two business units).

Responsibilities

• Act as Controller/Finance Manager and provide general supervision of the Finance Department when the Controller/Finance Manager is out.
• Prepare annual budget with Plant Staff.
• Prepare monthly forecast with Plant Staff.
• Perform weekly forecast vs actuals analysis and presentation.
• Update daily forecast vs actuals in key expense accounts.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly expense variance (budget vs actual, planned vs actual, YOY comparisons).
