JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a Field Tech Analyst to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Rack elevation for new device installation.
  • Must have strong knowledge of HP ProLiantBlade, Oracle and Dell PowerEdge servers.
  • Sound knowledge of general Health & Safety of devices in Data Centre.
  • Governance for the rack & stack, power & Cable connectivity for Server / network equipment.
  • Overview of hardware and Data Centre activity.
  • Review for Hardware Failures Trend Analysis, Hardware Uptime report.
  • Complete device inventory management for data centre.
  • Understanding of Data Centre environment (Power, Cooling, Security, Processes ETC.)
  • Vendor / OEM coordination for Network / Server equipment.
  • Device movement, redeployment of the assets and disposal of EOL assets.
