Field Applications Engineer

Job Description

Provides technical support to external customers to ensure the stable operation of purchased products. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and managing site-level communication links, as well as conducting end‑user training when required.

Supports both DISCO and iTEC equipment throughout the full lifecycle—from installation, setup, and qualification to execution of preventive maintenance and major machine recovery.

Contributes ideas and feedback to principals to drive continuous improvement of DISCO and iTEC products, particularly in areas related to equipment and consumables.

Supports material evaluations, including DISCO blades, BG wheels, and other consumables produced by DISCO and iTEC, as well as products from any future principals.

• Performs on‑site troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs.
• Identifies and repairs product failures and orders replacement parts as needed.
