Facility Engineer

A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Facilities Engineer, you will primarily provide all aspects of facility engineering management. Problem solving is the key function of the position. This role supports the Penang Facilities sites and reports to the Senior Facilities Manager.

Responsibilities

• Major role in managing fire protection systems and associated maintenance and regulations.
• Manage canteen kitchen and equipment maintenance.
• Oversee landscape, janitorial service, hygiene, pest control management, and related documentation.
• Supervise cafeteria operations.
• Address overall building defect management.
• Manage utilities equipment and systems such as compressed dried air, cooling tower, chiller, heat recovery hot water system, plant-wide air conditioning system, and cooling/chilled water system.
• Manage contractors and ensure they comply with safety procedures.
