Facilities Technician

Job Description Overview

The Facility Technician is one of the primary contacts for all activities related to the SP3 nuclear lab. The role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail such as the correct completion of support documentation and scheduling. Communication skills are the key to being successful in the role and involve both external service providers and internal clients.

Responsibilities

• Support the Facilities Group by scheduling planned daily work for the facilities group: re‑crane, lift truck, elevator, etc.
• Update the Facilities schedule.
• Represent Facilities in the daily POD meeting.
• Coordinate contractor activities as required.
• Order replacement equipment for the lab as required (Pcard).
• Manage documentation requirements for the Facility Group and prepare for loading into TRAK.
