Responsibilities:

• Serves as the liaison before the NYS Legislature and other various state and regulatory agencies, and with other education-related associations.
• Serves as registered Lobbyist for the association.
• Supervises office staff, provides leadership and direction of operations, and performs human resources functions.
• Responsible for financial oversight alongside the President and Treasurer, and serves on the Budget and Finance Committee.
• Collaborates in the preparation and presentation of annual budgets, annual reports, and financial recommendations to the Board of Directors for approval.
• Researches and oversees potential and received grants.
• Actively engages and energizes volunteers to strengthen the association.
• Assist with state-level volunteer leadership recruitment and retention efforts.
