Estimator - Earthwork

Overview

As an Estimator within Pomerleau’s Civil & Infrastructure division, you will play a key role at the heart of the Earthworks business unit. You will support the growth of new and ongoing projects by challenging industry standards through your expertise and knowledge of the trade. You will be involved in large‑scale projects ranging from $1.5 M to over one billion dollars, across various areas of expertise, including sewer and waterworks, wind farms, dams, and roadwork, and other projects carried out in synergy with the organization’s different business units.

Responsibilities

• Contribute actively to the bid process cycle.
• Identify project‑specific pricing for labor, equipment, and materials.
• Accurately interpret technical specifications with a keen eye for detail.
• Perform thorough quantity take‑offs to ensure precise contract specifications and pricing.
