About the Role

Job Summary ESS Employment Ltd is looking for a CNC Sliding Head Setter and Operator to set and/or operate various CNC machines using Fanuc, Siemens & Mazatrol control panels. The role involves monitoring machining processes to ensure finished parts meet high standards. 
Location & Hours Location: Stroud 
Hours: 07:30 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday; 07:30 – 12:30 Friday 
Start Date: ASAP 
Pay: £15.00 – £20.00 per hour 
Employment Type: Permanent 
Key Responsibilities Set up and operate sliding head CNC machines. 
Program and adjust Fanuc, Siemens, and Mazatrol control panels. 
Monitor machining processes and ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirements. 
Read and interpret engineering drawings. 
Load materials and maintain machinery. 
Required Experience & Skills Previous experience programming/setting sliding head machines.
