Environmental Acoustics Scientist

FirstCarbon Solutions (FCS), an ADEC Innovation is hiring an Environmental Acoustics Scientist (CG06) to perform environmental noise and vibration impact assessments that support CEQA and NEPA compliance. Core responsibilities include conducting field noise monitoring, preparing noise models using tools such as TNM and SoundPLAN, evaluating regulatory thresholds, and drafting high quality technical analyses. The position supports multiple project managers, contributes to environmental impact reports, and provides guidance on best practices for noise assessment and mitigation. This position will require experience conducting noise analysis (overseeing ambient noise measurements, stationary and mobile source noise modeling, construction noise modeling).
