Position Summary

This course provides an introduction to the fundamental concepts of database management, including aspects of data models, database languages, and database design. At the end of this course, a student will be able to understand and apply the fundamental concepts required for the use and design of database management systems. Position Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Applied Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree.

  • Applicants will have related experience appropriate to the content in the course description as listed above.

  • Previous teaching experience at a post secondary educational institution is an asset.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and presentation skills.

  • Submission of a one page statement of teaching philosophy as it relates to the course.
