English Academic Mentor

Overview

A fantastic school in Central London is looking to appoint graduates into the role of English Academic Mentor. The position offers 1 year of experience on a permanent contract in a secondary school before applying for teacher training in September 2027. Applications are welcome from graduates who are passionate about working with young people, whether or not they intend to become teachers. The role aims to inspire, motivate and raise attainment and participation in the core subject areas of English and Literacy. Becoming an English Academic Mentor provides a great way to explore a career in teaching.

• Work with school staff to select students for mentoring
