Summary You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the ENGINEERING and PLANNING DEPARTMENT, TEST ENGINEERING and WORK CONTROL DIVISION (Code 246) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Salary Ranges: GS-11: $77,964 - $101,359 GS-12: $93,445 - $121,482 Responsibilities You will plan, develop and coordinate a non-nuclear Weight Testing and/or Work Control Program utilizing established procedures which include Weight Tests, Work Authorization Forms (WAFs) and tag outs. You will process WAFs and tag outs. You will coordinate and direct all assigned weight tests with shops and ship’s force personnel. You will utilize engineering technician skills and knowledge during performance of submarine and surface ship weight test procedures. You will assist in the development of new procedures for analysis and testing by learning new requirements, testing out new methods, and procedures, and gathering test data for evaluation of the procedure.
