Summary Engineering Technician (Focal) for FMP Support Center - FTW. Responsibilities Serves as full performance level Field Maintenance Program (FMP) Engineering Technician assigned to facility improvement projects such as Engine Generator (E/G) and Power Conditioning Systems (PCS) installs. Incumbent applies broad experience and advanced technical knowledge on multiple, varying and complex assignments in support of the National Airspace System (NAS). Plans, coordinates and performs work with a high degree of independence, keeping manager advised of significant problem areas. Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of the NAS as an integral system to deal with unusual problems or unanticipated issues. Independently evaluates the functional status of systems and facilities.
