Job Purpose
To assist the Manager to supervise a team of Assistant Engineers and Technical Officers to respond, investigate and manage emergency track incidents. The position would require the incumbent to work permanent night shift.
Responsibilities
Maintenance
Provide recommendations to the management regarding track failure and recovery.Manage and deploy manpower for the emergency team.Responsible for team’s safety, welfare, attendance and disciplinary matters.Prepare weekly activation report and monthly report on man-hours.Plan and manage the calibration and inspection for tools and equipment.Plan and execute monthly and ad-hoc noise measurements island-wide.Provide recommendations to the management regarding track failure and recovery.Audit staff in accordance to Based Safety Observation Data Sheet (BBS)....
