About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an Employment Specialist Position to support the HEAL (Hope, Empowerment, Adaptability and Learning) for Work Program. The Employment Specialist provides social and economic integration support to women and men who are survivors of violence and trauma to create workforce connections to good-paying jobs. The service provisions include information, orientation, service linking, job placement and coaching. Employment Specialists possess skills and expertise in the following areas: assessment, information and resource management, facilitated individual and group learning; job development; knowledge of labour market trends, career transition and self-employment etc.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Recruits clients by liaising with community services, agencies and training institutions to increase client referrals;
