• The Emergency Department physicians are employees of the Hospital and reside in the community.
• Emergency medicine residency training and ABEM/AOBEM certification required.
• Emergency Department physicians work progressive shifts of 10, 11, and 12 hours with four days on and four days off for a 32-day cycle followed by eight days off.
• The Emergency Department is supported by attending physicians in all major specialty and sub-specialty fields.
• There is an onsite helicopter service.
