    • An Emergency Medical Dispatch Support Officer (EMDSO) responds to triple zero (000) calls requesting ambulances across South Australia, assisting vulnerable South Australians during times of high stress. To achieve best outcomes for patient, an EMDSO must be able to use assertive communication and problem-solving skills to help guide and determine the most appropriate pathway for the patient.
