Electrical Inspector for Switchgear & MCC
Job Description
B.E. in Electrical Engineering and IEC certified or have comprehensive knowledge and experience of 10 years in switchgear and Motor Control Centre (MCC) inspection at refineries or petrochemical plants.
Shall have thorough knowledge of IEC standards applicable to switchgear and MCC equipment including IEC 62271, IEC 60439, and IEC 61439.
Capable of inspecting and verifying factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) of switchgear and MCC assemblies.
Can witness and verify installation, alignment, and commissioning of LV and MV switchgear panels and MCC assemblies.
Knowledgeable in motor starter types including direct online (DOL), star-delta, soft starter, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
Shall witness functional testing of motor feeders, interlocks, control wiring verification, and emergency stop functions.
