EHS & Preparedness Officer - Environmental Health & Safety

Position Information:

The Environment Health Safety and Preparedness Officer provides the leadership for the daily operational activities of the assigned Environment of Care Life Safety Management and/or Emergency Management Programs impacting the WakeMed enterprises and/or the entire system. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the provision of expertise for the development and maintenance of assigned policies and plans; the coordination and completion of assigned drills exercises and inspections; the management of performance improvement projects and initiatives; responding to Environment of Care and/or Emergency Management incidents and/or conducting safety investigations including the required follow-up actions.
