ED CMO In Charge - Griffith

The Opportunity

Griffith Base Hospital provides and a 24 hour Emergency Department (ED) with 15 ED spaces. The ED is supported by an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and also equipped with telehealth cameras to connect the team in Griffith with specialists across the NSW Critical Care Advisory Service. An ED CMO In Charge is required for night position where there it averages 7-10 patients overnight.

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

Bed numbers: 13 acute and 2 resuscitation beds

Shift times and staffing levels:

Support provided: 24hr senior medical officer in charge, consultants, registrars, RMOs and nursing staff

Any other important shift information: 1400-0000 shift can include ward calls
