About the Role
The critical care department at Willows Referral Service are pleased to offer a 1-year Emergency and Critical Care Discipline-Specific Internship Training Programme.
The successful candidate will receive intensive training in clinical skills essential for the successful management of critically ill veterinary patients and will undertake directed learning relating to relevant procedures and techniques. This programme is intended to allow veterinarians to expand their critical care knowledge base and skills in preparation for future training in a critical care residency. The role will also involve weekend working on a 1:3 rota to help alongside the primary care out-of-hours team, with compensatory days off given for weekend days worked.
Applicants should be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills; a very good command of spoken and written English is essential. A minimum of two years’ postgraduate experience in practice is essential and previous completi...
