About the Role
Driver
- Transport residents from the nursing home for their routine medical appointments.
- Co‑ordinate with the Manager in planning the route and time of transport.
- Maintain cleanliness and working condition of the van.
- Attend to any other delivery requirements or errands when needed.
- Primary education or equivalent.
- Able to speak and understand simple English.
- Good organisational ability.
- Class 3 Driving licence.
- Defensive Driving.
- CPR + AED certification.
- Assists the registered nurses in the delivery of nursing care to the residents in the Home.
- Assists the physiotherapist in delivering therapeutic activities to the residents in the Home.
- Helps to maintain a clean, safe and neat environment for the residents in the nursing home.
- Accompanies residents to the hospital/polyclinic for follow-up appointments.
