Director of Operations (Quebec City)

This position reports to the Vice President of Operations and exists for two reasons: to manage a group of Silgan manufacturing facilities and ensure each Plant Manager complies with the Silgan set of values as outlined in the Plant Managers’ job description; and to work with the commercial team to develop winning business strategies for both organic and new customer growth.

Effective leadership is a key requirement for this job. It must be consistently demonstrated across all functional areas.

• Develop an operations setting and culture that maximizes the contribution and results of all personnel through frequent plant visits, meetings, audits of personnel performance and results, feedback on expectations, and joint development of corrective action plans.
