About the Role

 We have a fabulous opportunity for a highly experienced hotel events & sales professional with this top luxury property in Co Wicklow. The Director of Event Management is responsible for maximising profit and guest satisfaction through effective management of the Meeting & Events Department.
 This role would suit a Senior Event Manager / Meeting & Events Sales Manager with deep experience of the full event cycle from initial enquiry through to handover to the operations team. Must also be a highly commercially-motivated manager with experience of proactive sales techniques to bring in event bookings/upsell events etc.
 Key responsibilities include:
 Work to revenue and conversion targets
 Direct day-to-day management of reactive sales & event planning to include enquiries, proposals, chasing, contracting, event planning and internal and external client face-to-face interactions
