About the Role
Summary Serves as Director, Business Revenue Division, Office of Tax Analysis, reporting to the Director of the Office of Tax Analysis. As Treasury's lead economist for business tax revenue forecasting and estimation, oversees development of business tax receipt forecasts for the President's Budget and Mid-Session Review and directs analysis of business tax policy proposals. Provides expert advice to senior Treasury leadership on issues affecting Federal budget, financing, and tax policy decisions. Responsibilities The Director for Business Revenue performs the following duties: 1. Executive Direction: Leads and directs the Business Revenue Division, overseeing a team of economists, econometricians, and statisticians responsible for business tax receipts forecasting, revenue estimation, and related research.
