Direct Tax Associate

Support the Partner and Manager teams in servicing clients in relation to their tax needs in income tax. Our income tax services include:

• Assist clients with the preparation, review and e-filing of their income tax returns (and organising the necessary information request flows, documentation and research needs)
• Assist in the fulfilment of clients’ income tax advisory needs in relation to their business transactions (e.g., new business arrangements, cross-border transactions)
• Assist in the fulfilment of clients’ income tax advisory needs on tax structuring matters and conducting income tax due diligence reviews (typically in M&A situations)
• Assist clients in managing IRAS queries/audits.
• Assist clients in seeking income tax rulings/clarifications from IRAS.
• Develop strong relationships with our clients and with our colleagues, both internally and across the Baker Tilly International Network.
