Dining Room Manager

Jazz St-Gabriel Residence is pleased to welcome independent and semi-independent seniors. We are currently seeking a full-time Dining Room Manager.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, variable hours between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with one weekend out of two.
Salary: To be discussed

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with kitchen employees to ensure good teamwork
• Contribute and ensure the maintenance of the cleanliness of the dining room by taking on some household chores, in collaboration with the whole team
• Greet residents in the dining room and ensure their comfort
• Perform other related duties
• See to the preparation of cold dishes and desserts
• Take orders, note specific requests from residents and follow up in the kitchen
• Welcome customers and ensure the integration of new residents by offering them an adequate table
