About the Role
Principal Accountabilities:
+ Assess the nutrition status of patients on appropriate biochemical, anthropometric, physical and dietary data.
+ Performs nutrition counseling and education to patients and/or family members.
+ Maintains quality assurance and evaluates compliance with corporate policies and procedures and State and Federal guidelines.
+ Develops and participates in educational sessions for staff to increase nutritional knowledge and improve patient care.
+ Maintains accurate records to meet regulatory agency guidelines and assists in statistical analysis of data and action plans for performance improvement initiatives.
+ Participated in the efforts of department PI projects and clinical nutrition programs
+ Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
